Harmonize in real time.

The Harmonizer is a small 12-key controller that sits on your trumpet. Each key holds a chord. Press one, and the plugin re-tunes its four voices to follow whatever you play.

  1. 1Plug the Harmonizer into your computer over USB.
  2. 2Press a key. It sends the chord to the plugin in your DAW.
  3. 3Play. Four voices harmonise with you in real time.
  4. 4Change what each key plays in MTG Manager.

If you already have a MIDI keyboard or pad controller, the plugin is all you need. Map any key to any harmony. If you want something you can plug in and play straight away, get the Harmonizer. It's the controller I use at every gig, ready to go, and the plugin comes free with it.
The Harmonizer sends the harmony choices; something else does the pitch-shifting. On a computer, that's the MTG MIDI Harmonizer plugin. It comes free with every Harmonizer, it's the same plugin that's sold on its own, and it runs in your DAW as AU or VST3 on Mac or Windows. On stage without a computer, a Line 6 HX Stomp does the pitch-shifting instead, and a setup guide is included.
No experience needed. The Harmonizer arrives ready to go, and both products come with step-by-step setup guides. You need a Mac or Windows computer, a DAW that runs AU or VST3 plugins (not Pro Tools, which only loads AAX), and a mic for your instrument or voice.
Yes. The plugin runs on Windows 10 and 11 (VST3, in beta), and the Harmonizer plays it just like on a Mac. The one thing that needs a Mac right now is the MTG Software Manager, the app for editing the Harmonizer's presets and updating its firmware. The Harmonizer comes set up and ready to play, so you don't need the Manager to get started.
